New Call for Proposals for "Artificial Intelligence and Data Science", "Quantum Technologies", "Robotics"
For the first time, the RA Science Committee is organizing a Call for Proposals for scientific topics in the fields of "Artificial Intelligence and Data Science", "Quantum Technologies", "Robotics" within the framework of contractual (thematic) funding of scientific and scientific-technical activities.
Within the framework of the Call for Proposals, grants will be given to research groups consisting of 3-5 members for 36-month long projects, which will be chosen on a competitive basis.
Both the requirements towards the members of research groups and their estimated remuneration are high.
The leader of the group must have at least 1 scientific article on the relevant field published in journals with impact factor (according to the Institute for Scientific Information (ISI JCR)) or at least 2 scientific publications in Scopus indexed journals during the last 5 years.
The group must include a scientific advisor working from a foreign scientific organization in the given field, with a Hirsch index (h-index) of at least 20, according to the Scopus database.
The expected output of the program is the publication of at least two scientific articles by the members of the group in the journals included in the first, second or third quarter classification (Q1, Q2, Q3 quartile) by the Scimago Journal & Country Ranking. In case of the field of "Artificial Intelligence and Data Science", one of the articles can be substituted by conference proceedings publication as long as it meets the requirements specified by the Call.
